This is a flyover with extended photo time, not a ground landing at Gokyo.
Landing is subject to wind, visibility, and CAAN regulations. Because this tour covers more distance than the standard EBC route, the pilot assesses conditions at each waypoint. If Kala Patthar landing is not possible, an alternative landing (such as Syangboche or Lukla) will be made with a partial refund for the missed landing.
